The Warehouse and Materials Management Specialistwill manage and maintain a GMP warehouse and inventory management system. In this role, you will perform activities to support manufacturing operations, product shipping, and material receiving to ensure inventory accuracy and timely supply of materials to manufacturing production suites, QC labs and R&D labs to meet demands. This role will apply to all three functions within the Warehouse and Materials Management department from receiving, kitting, and shipping activities. The ideal candidate will have strong learning agility, be inherently meticulous and have a passion for making a difference in the world. This Specialist position is a key role in enabling efficient cGMP compliant manufacturing operations. You will adhere to established procedures to receive raw material inventory, pick and prepare components for manufacturing and ship product. The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience in biotechnology, cell, gene or regenerative medicine; or similar industry experience at a leading biotech organization. **Responsibilities:**

+ Lead daily receipt activities including but not limited to, accepting deliveries, performing visual inspection, assure temperature control of materials

+ Assist as needed in daily deliveries to end users throughout campus

+ Escalate WMS communicating issues and needs to appropriate departments as required

+ Provide assistance to QC for inspection activities.

+ Liaise with Facilities to manage required PMs, Work Order requests etc

+ Collaborate with QA and Manufacturing Operations to assist in the development of area processes and procedures.

+ Assist in the development of an inventory cycle count process to assure accuracy of GMP warehouse materials.

+ Monitor area to ensure optimum replenishment of materials

+ Communicate inventory discrepancies to area manager

+ Assist in the development of a cross training program to support the onboarding of future hires

+ Adhere to safety procedures and GMP's requirements at all times

+ Maintain inspection ready warehouse and documentation.

+ Forklift Experience Required

+ Other duties as assigned

**Requirements:**

+ High School Diploma

+ 3 to 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology Materials Management, GMP distribution/warehouse operations, manufacturing, and supply chain

+ In depth knowledge of warehouse operations in a GMP setting

+ Must be able to work on off shift hours as well as part of the on-call rotation as needed

+ Must be able to operate equipment such as a forklift, order picker and an electric pallet jack

+ Must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull 100 lb. of equipment or supplies

+ Must be able to squat, bend, kneel, climb, and/or reach for 75% of the day

+ Must be able to stand, walk, and/or move about for 75% of the day

+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment

+ Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
