**Responsibilities**
**POSITION SUMMARY:** Responsible for collecting, washing and maintaining all hospital laundry and linen to provide patients, visitors, and staff with a safe and clean environment by maintaining standards of cleanliness, sanitatin and freedom from hazards and infections.
Desert View Hospital is a 25-bed, acute care hospital set in a rural community. Desert View provides safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. We provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care while demonstrating Service Excellence standards at all times.
**Qualifications**
**ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION & ABILITIES:**
* Certification, Registration, or Licensure: None required.
* Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum Experience: None required.
* Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
