DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to source potential candidates for the company.
- Recruit, interview, perform background checks, discuss position openings and candidates with hiring managers.
- Collaborate with managers regarding placements. Ensure job specifications and desired qualifications are clear as well as advise managers on interviewing and candidate selection. Interact with managers to promote positive relationships.
- Manage the recruiting team to ensure all interviews, reference checks, and pre-employment procedures are followed in a timely manner throughout the hiring process and new employees are onboarded correctly.
- Build and maintain company's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, high schools, colleges, and other partners.
- Participate in job fairs and career events which include local, out of state, and out of country travel. Select appropriate recruitment functions and events for labor needs.
- Manage contracts and coordinate interactions with recruitment firms and other vendors for appropriate utilization.
- In collaboration with HR team and managers, develop retention strategies to retain qualified staff.
- Ensure compliance with organization, State, Federal and other regulatory agency guidelines.
- Provide HR support services for the organization's managers and employees.
- Oversee administration of UKG recruiting tracking system.
- Maintain weekly staffing requisitions report.
- Research and choose job advertising options; create all advertisements for current and upcoming open jobs; post open jobs on social media platforms; job boards, and company website. Review advertisement billings and process POs to Accounting.
- Research and implement new sourcing methods.
- Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill and cost-per-hire)
- Manage the domestic and international intern programs for all areas which includes developing programs, recruiting students, collaborating with schools and international agencies, and collaborating with international applicants for the J-1 and H2B process.
- Manage international program participants, including housing, cultural immersion activities, and transportation.
- Collaborate with employees and managers regarding employee relations issues, complaints, and advise managers of appropriate disciplinary actions if necessary.
- Assists with projects and programs of the department as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:- Desire a bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources with a minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Prefer experience in international recruiting with J1 and H2B knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required. Public speaking ability required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to function independently and use sound judgment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Experience with creating advertisements for social media platforms, job boards, and websites.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Must be diplomatic and tactful.
- Must exhibit good professional ethics at all times. Ensure that information is maintained to protect confidentiality.
- Must present a professional image.
- Computer proficiency required.
