Based in Lancaster, PA, Clark Associates has been a disruptive force in the Food Service industry for 50 years. As its newest division, has been charged with further expanding the reach of Clark's products and services through the strategic application of technology and innovation. Our teams overarching goal is to provide creative and effective solutions to the unique needs and challenges of the chain restaurant sector as it pertains to the sourcing of the equipment and supplies they need to run their day-to-day business operations.

As the **Logistics Team Leader** for Clark National Accounts, you will oversee the development and implementation of fulfillment workflows and logistical capabilities geared toward accommodating our growing portfolio of multi-unit customers. As our customer base continues to scale, this position will ensure that we have the staff, processes, and systems in place to continue serving our customers with a high degree of excellence and will be responsible for inspiring the growth, performance, and professional development of our rapidly expanding Logistics Team.

This role will also serve as an advocate, ambassador, and product owner to the various stakeholders and departments this Team regularly works with including Procurement, Programming, Order Optimization, Outbound Transportation, Warehousing, Account Management, Business Development, etc.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Areas of oversight can be largely broken down into three subsections:

- Team Management

- Project Oversight

- Order Fulfillment and Logistics

***1. Team Management***

* Hiring, Mentorship, Coaching, Performance Reviews, Scheduling, Performance Improvement Plans, etc.

* Facilitation of regularly scheduled team and individual meetings

* Implementation of new initiatives and assigning of project-based work

* Development of a cohesive team unit that works well together but is proficient in their independent specialties

* The setting of clear performance targets and teamwide objectives

* Consistent review of reporting and analytics to track defined KPs

* Tracking and review of KPIs with individual team members

***2. Oversight of Project Management Functions***

* Oversee and develop our Project Management functions and workflows:

* Become familiar with AutoQuotes (AQ) and the process of quoting and managing equipment projects including new store equipment packages for chains

* Identify ways to define, streamline, and enhance the current process

* Regularly review and assess revenue, profitability, and other EQ fulfillment KPIs

* Develop an understanding of interactions and services of our 3PLs (3rd Party Logistics Providers) and work to build out our network

* Become familiar with our in-house smallwares project fulfillment tools and drive developments geared toward operational efficiencies

* Understand the process of managing the wide array of smallwares opening order project types, the workflows involved, and the varying needs of each chain restaurant and institution

* Identify how we can continue to automate and improve this process

* Develop an understanding of interactions and services of our 3PLs (3rd Party Logistics Providers) and work to build out our network

* Rollout Project Management: work to understand, streamline, and standardize our process for handling chain-wide product rollouts involving interactions with 3PLs, warehouse teams, our consolidated order tool, and any National Accounts internal stakeholders

***3. Order Fulfillment and Logistics***

* Continue to define and streamline interactions between inter-company stakeholders to ensure that orders are being efficiently routed and customers are being proactively informed of any fulfillment issues

* Oversee order logs, tools, and reports to ensure that tasks are accomplished with a high level of care and attention.

* Manage email distribution allocations

* Monitor Quality Assurance results and review with individual team members

* Identify inefficient or repetitive tasks that are candidates for in-house automation

* Monitor freight profitability

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

* Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in either data analysis, management, or logistics

* Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

* 1 to 5 years of Prior Management Experience preferred but not required

* Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts simply and concisely to ensure ease of understanding

* Strong emotional intelligence is required with the ability to connect with others in-person and remotely

* Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently and within a team

* Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable working in a high-tech environment

* Service leadership approach with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence

The passage of employees through the work area is normal.
