**Position Objective:**
Works with our IT team in administering and maintaining the network environment at company locations. Provides support to other IT staff and end users as needed on IT related issues. Assist in administering and maintaining existing infrastructure. Assists in designing and developing new strategies and solutions.

**Job Responsibilities:**
* Resolve operational difficulties in software and hardware systems in both onsite and offsite locations.
* Testing, installing, and connecting various hardware and software solutions onto both end user PCs and Networked servers and other network endpoints.
* Ability to document installation, upgrades to, and replacement of hardware and software.
* Direct end user interaction, training, and support through in person, telephone, web based, and email-based systems.
* Leading or assisting in directing IT related projects including new hardware design and implementation, software testing and installation, and network endpoint/device management.
* Design, maintain, and upgrade information in Active Directory as needed. Including but not limited to MAC work, network/software updates, and planned infrastructure changes or updates.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office software environments. Ability to instruct end users on effective usage is also important
* Physical infrastructure knowledge a must; knowledge of wiring standards and their applications is required
* Back up routine operation, revision, and refinement. Using both existing technologies and looking forward to emerging technologies
**Additional Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Researching issues, products, and potential solutions. Ability to document and summarize findings.
* Provide feedback on existing systems being able to identify issues or inefficiencies and suggesting improvements, updates, or upgrades.
* Interface with vendors for support requests and warranty management.
* Run/Install new, repair existing or assist in cabling and network infrastructure installs, breakdowns, and upgrades as needed.
* Effectively communicate with co-workers, end users, supervisors. This includes progress on projects/tasks, status on orders or repairs, or other requests as they come up.
* Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair end user devices (desktops, laptops, smartphones, etc.)
* Other duties and responsibilities as needed
**Requirements:**
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
* Microsoft or other applicable IT certifications are a plus
* Two to Four years minimum experience working in the IT or related field (preferably) in an end user support
