OpSource Staffing is currently hiring for a Press Assistant Operator for a local packaging company in Spartanburg, SC. This position is temporary to permanent and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of converting machinery in accordance with customer-approved specifications as well as all Quality requirements and safety policies and procedures. This position is responsible for providing support to the machine crew and operator. The Press Assistant position covers the following machines: Rotary Die Cutter, One Cut Die Cutter, Flexo Folder Gluer, Post Folder Gluer, Jumbo and Automatan.
Skills: Must have good mathematical skills. Must have good analytical skills.
Hours:
1st Shift: Monday--Friday, 5:00am--3:30pm, and some Saturdays from 5:00am--1:00pm
*******This company has a hire on eligibility period of 60 days. Once hired on, the pay rate goes up to $17.39 as an assistant. There is more room for growth to become an operator, which would be another pay increase.*******
