Instructors with advanced coursework and/ or experience shall be placed on the appropriate class and step on the Adjunct College Salary Schedules, effective the first month following receipt (in Human Resources) of the official transcripts and Verifications of Previous Work Experience (if applicable). Initial salary placement will be at the first class/step until all required documentation has been submitted.

The Testing Clerk will assist instructors with grading all tests administered and print out reports / analysis generated by automated system to support course testing and student tracking requirements. The Testing Clerk will oversee the security of testing materials and the security of the testing center.

Military Instructor positions offer opportunities across the nation to provide an assortment of military training to the Department of Defense. NOTE : The San Diego Community College District, Military Education Department accepts applications for Military Instructor positions in support of government contracts on a continuous basis. However, it does not necessarily imply there are immediate openings. If you meet the required minimum qualifications, your application will be included in the Military Instructor pool for possible assignments. Hiring departments utilize the pool when there is a need and will contact you directly should you possess the qualifications they are seeking. Applications are purged approximately one year from submittal, at which time you will receive an automated e-mail notice to re-apply if you wish to remain in the pool. Major Responsibilities Issue tests to qualified instructors for administration to students in accordance with the approved testing plan for each school.

Grade tests

Scan student critiques

Publish reports of results when provided to the test center after administration

Perform test analysis as required

Input grades into CeTARS

Count and secure the tests in a locked filed cabinet after the tests have been graded and reviewed.

Print any reports necessary in support of the test plan.

Inventory test banks on a regular schedule and notify the Testing Officer of any discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records in support of the test center

Monitor the security of test storage facilities

Ensure that all testing material is turned in and locked up before securing the test center for the day

Correlation of testing data from CeTARS into Moodle, and Access Data Base into Excel spreadsheets Qualifications 1. Minimum of two (2) years experience operating personal computers, printers and computer programs such as Office 2007 or later software version Desired Qualifications 1. Familiarity with Moodle
