This position will be with Desert Environmental, LLC, an affiliate of WaterBridge Operating, LLC.



Summary of Position:


The Field Sales Representative will prospect new business while providing excellent customer service and retention skills to maintain an existing book of business. Utilizing a consultative selling approach, the Field Sales Representative matches prospect s needs to Desert Environmental services and aims to secure long-term partnerships.



Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:


  • Visiting client sites and locations to generate sales, maintain and develop relationships.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to expand our current customer sales and grow customer base.
  • Fostering new client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. This can include networking, cold calling, or visiting site locations.
  • Working closely with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure the client s expectations are met.
  • Participating in the development and review of content for bids and proposals.
  • Listening to, analyzing, and resolving customer complaints.
  • Acting a liaison between accounts receivables department for Desert Environmental and the client to address any billing concerns or administer collections on outstanding payments.
  • Working closely with other Desert Environmental employees to identify and develop new business opportunities and competitive strategies.
  • Providing management with reports on market intelligence. Including, collective data of customer needs, problems, interest market situations, and recommendations or solutions for approvals to proceed.
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with health and safety policies and legal compliance requirements; and brings problems to the attention of the supervisor, superintendent, and/or HSE.



Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Must be willing to drive to remote rig locations to establish and secure new business as well as maintain current clientele.
  • Rig locations will vary, but are within the radius of Midland, TX and Carlsbad, NM.
  • Must have a valid driver s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor s degree preferred.
  • Industry knowledge and understanding of the oil and gas, upstream, midstream, and industrial services / disposal waste environment is strongly preferred.
  • 2 4 years outside sales experience, client relations, and / or business development, preferably with similar products or within industrial services.
  • Experience in oilfield waste disposal, management, environmental services, or drilling fluids industries is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Google Earth, GPS coordinates, or navigating to remote locations is highly preferred.
  • Have the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Be computer literate (Microsoft office with Excel experience).



Working Conditions/Environment:


  • Operates in a field environment.
  • Sales calls
  • Onsite visits to customer sites (rig sites and remote locations)
  • Frequent driving



Position Type:


  • This is a full-time position.
  • Shift includes standard work week. Monday Friday.



Position Location:


  • Location of direct business will be around Pecos, TX and Orla, TX.



Additional Key Information:


  • While the direct business will be conducted around remote locations of Pecos and Orla, Texas, Desert Environmental is broadening their scope of requirements.
  • If you do not live within the approved radius of these two towns, Desert Environmental has multiple options for this position:
  • We can offer company paid housing through our man camps.
  • Per diem, if you bring a travel trailer or RV closer to location.
  • Or a company vehicle can be provided if from closer surrounding areas, such as Midland, TX or Carlsbad, NM.
