A growing Property Management company in the Murray, KY area is actively seeking a General Manager to join the team.
Reports to: Executive Vice President
Hours/Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, Fridays 9am to 4pm (must be flexible based on business needs)
Work environment: Onsite

About the role:
As a General Manager, you are responsible for the overall operations and sales of your assigned property(s) with a strong focus on customer service and retention.
What you ll do:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the communities including customer service, resident relations, vendor relations, rent collections, and the community staff.
- Manage and increase occupancy through home sales, home leasing, and site leasing.
- Meet or exceed all approved revenue, expense, sales, and leasing budgets.
- Be able to speak to and provide reports variances in budgets.
- Manage all third-party vendors.
- Develop sales and marketing strategies with the sales team based on the local market and competition.
- Manage all aspects of the home rental program including the eviction process for non-paying tenants.
- Maintain the physical appearance and infrastructure of the communities in accordance with company standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Our ideal candidate:
- High School Diploma and 5 plus years property management experience or related field
- Must have experience creating and analyzing budgets, P&L's, and financial reports.
- Marketing, sales, and leasing experience.
- Familiarity with Property Management software strongly preferred.
- Strong management and operational skills including customer service; public relations; performance management.
- Ability to be available for resident and community concerns after hours, as necessary.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Team oriented with an exceptionally strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, problem solving abilities, and attention to detail Poised and polished professional with excellent oral and written communication skills.
