**Responsibilities**

* Forecast goals and objectives for the Service department

* Hire, train, and monitor the performance of all Service department staff.

* Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the Service department.

* Maintains inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments

* Creates pricing guidelines for customer categories that simultaneously generates profit and creates customer loyalty

* Supervises stock order procedures

* Creates and enforces a policy for special orders

* Monthly analysiss to maintain profit

* Works closely with service manager and body shop manager to ensure timely turnaround of Service needed

* Provides technical assistance when necessary

* Creates and monitors reporting such as lost sales, sales productivity, etc.

* Develops and enforces guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction

* Enforces safety requirements

* Maintains professional appearance.

**Qualifications**

* At least 2 years experience in service management

* Automotive technical knowledge

* Ability to manage others

* Computer literate

* Good communication skills
