Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Commercial Electrical Estimator / Project Manager located in Houston, TX. As a Commercial Electrical Estimator / Project Manager, you will be responsible for putting together complete electrical bid packages. As well as, estimating the cost of electrical projects and managing the execution of those projects. You must have a thorough knowledge or the NEC and ability to design electrical projects as required. Your day-to-day tasks will include quantity take off, reviewing project specifications, conducting site visits, preparing accurate cost estimates, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, overseeing project schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge or the National Electric Code
- Thorough knowledge of electrical systems used in commercial buildings.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrical Estimator or Project Manager
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and specifications
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for accurate cost estimation
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as estimating software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- A current Texas Journeyman electrical license.
