Gift Shop Attendant - Weekends required
$12.00-$14.00/hour*
*pay based on experience
Gift Shop Attendants will provide resort guests with courteous, knowledgeable service regarding all aspects of the gift shop, maintain visually appealing displays, and keep Provisions clean and clear of all trash and debris.
What you will do (includes but not limited to):
You will greet all guests with enthusiasm in your voice and a smile on your face, ensure every guest is served in a timely manner, and respond to all inquiries or complaints with respectful concern. Assist guests with locating merchandise, food and drink items, courteously and accurately check out guests, thank fondly and invite back. Maintain Provisions bank, accurately make cash drops. Efficiently follow opening or closing procedures, keep shelves clean and stocked, and Provisions clear of trash and debris. Building effective rapport with guests, community visitors, and Team Members is an essential element of this position. Be mindful that guests and Team Members will witness your interactions and conduct.
Qualities and characteristics of a Gift Shop Attendant include being personable, motivated, accurate, and punctual.
Minimum requirements include a strong command of written and oral English and above average math and software competencies.
Skills and abilities include having the abilities to use mature judgment, problem solve, provide professional communication, and remain composed in a high-volume environment.
Minimum education required is a high school diploma/GED.
Minimum experience required is 1 year guest relations, will train ideal candidate.
