Position Description:
We are excited to announce opportunities for energetic and dedicated individuals to join our team at Saint Mary's College. This is your chance to make a positive impact on young lives while having a blast in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Saint Mary's College provides a variety of athletics camps that help inspire the next generation of strong women. Our Sports Exploration Camp is tailored to elementary school-aged girls who will get first hand experience in each of our-nine varsity sports. Our Volleyball and Tennis Camps create opportunities for high school girls to improve their skills through either day or residential camp options.
Position Duties:
- Facilitate Sports Activities
- Lead and organize a variety of sports and recreational activities tailored to elementary-aged campers, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
- Inspire and Motivate
- Encourage campers to develop their athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Supervise Campers
- Maintain a watchful eye on campers during all activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Create a Positive Environment
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes personal growth, friendship, and a love for physical activity.
- Collaborate with Team
- Work closely with fellow camp counselors and coordinators to plan and execute a well-rounded camp program.
Qualifications:- Strong knowledge of various sports and recreational activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a camp or youth program is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Preference is given to Saint Mary's Varsity student-athletes.
