Job Description Summary:

Mid-level for Project Management position for our Cooperative Purchasing division, Smartbuy.

Without major specificities related to the department the employee will:

Performs all types of standard project management duties including but not limited to:

  • Receive Purchase Orders and forward to Legal for review
  • Enter projects into accounting program
  • Order bonds & insurance
  • Orders intents and affidavits when required
  • Issue internal PO's
  • Receive, review, and submit invoices to accounting
  • Follow up on each project for month end status updates
Job Description

Highly motivated and organized individual that can work in a high paced sports surfacing sales environment. Work directly with the SmartBuy Cooperative Purchasing team addressing general administrative tasks including but not limited to:
  • Assist in sending SmartBuy sales follow up related e-mails
  • Generate SmartBuy related reports
  • Complete SmartBuy project related administrative tasks
  • Address general administrative tasks
Key responsibility areas

25% Send SmartBuy sales follow-up related e-mails: coop contract links, populate owner coop membership information, create project lists from the master, and access web-based documents.

25% Generate SmartBuy reports: update master job list, update Coop quarterly reports, complete Project Install report, create breakdown spreadsheets for projects, and RS MEANS summary spreadsheets.

25% Complete SmartBuy project-related administrative tasks: file intents and affidavits, enter admin fee and RS MEANS POs, fill out and request new customer/supplier forms, and request status updates from subcontractors.

25% Address General Administrative tasks: e-file documents, look up information in Sharepoint and Syspro, assist in compiling coop bid responses, work with SmartBuy team daily housekeeping tasks.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management or equivalent experience in the bidding/contracting process

Number of years of relevant work experience: 3 Years

Competencies:
  • Detail-oriented, prioritizing skills, assertive, meticulous, good work ethic, meets deadlines, manages stress, good communicator and enjoys teamwork
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Good with accounting/mathematics.
