DSJ Global is partnered with a global leader seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to oversee all manufacturing operations at their facility in North Carolina.
Responsibilities of the Plant Manager Include:
- Full P&L Responsibility: Take ownership of the plant's financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, revenue generation, and profitability optimization.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of manufacturing professionals to achieve production targets, quality standards, and safety objectives.
- Drive the adoption of Lean principles and methodologies throughout the plant to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings, implementing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure that products meet or exceed quality standards, implementing robust quality control measures and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for the plant, aligning operational objectives with overall company goals and objectives.
Qualifications of the Plant Manager Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within the printing/packaging manufacturing industry, with a track record of delivering results and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience implementing Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma.
- Proven ability to manage full P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management.
