Evergreen North America Industrial Services, is a leading provider of environmental and industrial cleaning solutions to the downstream and midstream energy sectors. We are leaders in each of our respective service lines, including Vapor Control, Chemical Cleaning, Tank Cleaning, Water Treatment, Vacuum Services, Hydroblasting, Hydroexcavation, and Industrial Logistics & Transportation. We currently have an opening for a Procurement Buyer.

POSITION SUMMARY: Supervises the procurement of materials, equipment and services on a competitive basis for Evergreen North America Industrial Services in accordance with policies and procedures and/or specification requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for the lifecycle of purchase orders for assigned region. This includes invoice, credit and receiving issues escalating from procurement administration.
2. Proactively engage and collaborate with Business stake holders, in order to solve operational issues and problems related to purchase.
3. Support branches to leverage spending with suppliers who have established agreements and limit the number of new suppliers.
4. Manage supplier scorecard for assigned commodities and coordinate supplier continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Meets with suppliers to discuss material and/or services offerings. Effectively communicates Evergreen's requirements with regards to cost factors, quality specifications, and quantity of materials and services required.
6. Create Requisitions as needed in the purchase order system to support the Branches.
7. Primary supplier contact for all purchasing related concerns for assigned region.
8. Monitoring cost savings and cost avoidances along with preform supplier analysis to ensure Evergreen is leveraging spend and maximizing supplier value.
9. Utilizes the functions of purchase order system and acts as the expert and trainer of requisitioning processes to all users.

Requirements

• Strong Negotiation and influencing skills to be able to convince relevant stakeholders.
• Must have proven Excel experience (100k + rows, vlookup / Index & Match, Pivot tables, basic formulas and formatting)
• Understanding of procurement systems, Coupa experience a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational: College degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. CPSM/CPM certification is a plus

Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in related field.
