Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

Work alongside Sr. Designers and Design Principals in the conception, development, and execution of Architectural Designs of projects of multiple scales and typologies, including Healthcare, Education & Science, and Federal Architecture

Assist Design Leaders with Project Marketing Pursuits including supporting design aspects of proposals, concept designs, and imagery

Perform architectural design assignments (both digitally and by hand) with only general instruction from the Design Principal and/or Project Architect regarding the expected result

Develop design studies, massings, programmatic analysis, design documents and presentations for internal and external client use

Assist Project Architects, other Architectural Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and take responsibility for work in all phases of the architectural proce

Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field

Must possess credentials to obtain future registration

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)

Desire to pursue growth opportunities and eventually obtain registration

Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skill

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill

Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and proce

Demonstrated graphic presentation skills & desire to work with Design leaders in a dynamic studio environment

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the areas of healthcare, educational, civic, science and research facilitie

Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required

Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and 3-D Studio Max strongly preferred.

Rhino and Grasshopper experience

Preference given to local candidate
