Job Title: Wellness Center Assistant

Job Overview:
Connestee Falls POA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Wellness Assistant to work with the Wellness Director on day-to-day operations of our wellness facility. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service, motivational, and organizational skills, along with the ability to problem-solve. The Wellness Center Manager will play a crucial role in support to meet the diverse needs of our community.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to assist members and guests.
- Address inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive and positive atmosphere within the wellness center.
- Motivational Skills:
- Implement Orientations to familiarize members to the facility and motivate them in achieving their wellness goals.
- Encourage participation in fitness classes, workshops, and other wellness activities.
- Organizational Skills:
- Coordinate /oversee weekend Group Fitness Classes
- Coordinate schedules for fitness classes, personal training sessions, and wellness events.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the wellness center.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Communicate problems, concerns, and suggestions to the Wellness Director.
- Address and follow-through to resolve issues related to facility operations and member concerns.
- Make quick decisions to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, under the oversight of Director.
- Implement solutions to enhance the overall wellness center experience.
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience in wellness center management or a similar role.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- General knowledge of fitness equipment
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in Exercise Science, Health and Wellness, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in fitness training or wellness coaching.
- Salary:
- Salary commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule: Part-time. Weekly shift up to 29 hours a week. Weekends required 6 hours on Saturday and 6 hours Sunday. Holidays to be determined.
