Description
In your job as a Front Desk Clerk, you will:
- Warmly greet all members, parents/guardians, and visitors to the Club. Supervise the front desk ("parent table") and entry area and enforce Club rules and policies.
- Check parent/guardian and visitor identification in reference to membership reports.
- Guide parents/guardians to sign members in and out of the program. Use walkie-talkie to call members for dismissal.
- Provide parents/guardians with incident/accident reports and guidance notices and collect signatures.
- Respond to parent/guardian and visitor inquires and/or redirect questions to appropriate the Unit Director.
- Provide parents/guardians and visitors with flyers and other written information concerning Clubs programs, fundraisers, events and school-out days. Assist with updates to the Parent Bulletin Board.
- Receive payments and donations and provide receipts. Direct and assist parents/guardians to make payments online.
- Track member payment plans. Follow-up until payments are received in full and alert the Unit Director when unable to collect payments.
- Act as a role model to club members.
- Maintain materials, equipment and other resources belonging to the Club. Maintain a safe and clean program area.
- Establish and maintain a professional, positive and cohesive relationship with members, parents/guardians, staff, school administration and personnel and communicate effectively.
- Participate as part of a team for effective Club operations by helping out where needed or as directed.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Unit or Preschool Director

Schedule - Monday through Friday
- Split Shift, approximately 6:15-8:30 AM and 2:00-6:00 PM.
- OPTIONAL opportunities to cover breaks in our 7 preschools during the day for additional hours up to 39.5 hour/week
- No overtime
- HOURS & LOCATION WILL VARY DURING SUMMER CAMP

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation. You have to get to work twice a day!
- A positive attitude and the ability to lead by example.
- Commitment to enhancing the lives of Hernando County's children
- Ability and willingness to complete childcare training requirements within the 90-day introductory period.
- Ability to pass a Level II background check and pre-employment drug testing
