We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who loves operations, has a passion for data & systems, and enjoys hands-on work to join our small team at our ecommerce fulfillment center in Mansfield, MA.


The Ecommerce Warehouse Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse, keeping our inventory impeccably organized, coordinating large shipments of product, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations; our company is growing quickly, so we need someone who is passionate about developing new systems to improve operational efficiency as we grow!

DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Inventory: You will be the go-to person for all of our inventory!
  • Ensure inventory organization and accuracy across all of our channels, including our retail store on Nantucket, and working with the Head of Operations to allocate and transfer inventory
  • Conducting regular inventory counts to ensure inventory is accurate, and resolving discrepancies
  • Work with customer service to answer questions about inventory and prevent overselling
  • Develop inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels as our SKU count grows (barcode scanning, cycle counts, software upgrades, etc)
  • Tracking and managing inventory across multiple software systems (including Shopify, Excel, Rechain PLM), and the ability to manipulate and analyze spreadsheet data (formulas, pivot tables, filtering, conditional formatting, etc)
  • Receiving Inventory:
  • Coordinate, count & organize all incoming shipments of product
  • Communicate any discrepancies with vendors and updating inventory levels
  • Maintain detailed records, and file packing lists, import documents, etc.
  • Logistics:
  • Manage relationships and communication with all shipping carriers
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and obtaining quotes for import shipments
  • Prepare all domestic and international paperwork required for shipments. Managing customs / harmonizing codes and rates, alongside our customs broker
  • Monitor all incoming shipments and proactively resolving customs delays, ensuring accurate duties were levied, etc
  • Communicating delivery dates & delays to the rest of the team so key product deadlines are met
  • Analyze shipping carrier costs & services
  • Warehouse organization:
  • Lead by example, maintaining an organized and immaculate warehouse environment
  • Strategize warehouse layout & storage methods to maximize space efficiency - especially as new product arrives and our SKU count grows
  • Developing strategies for receiving & warehousing inventory to maximize our internal warehouse space (splitting shipments, working with factories to store product, etc.)
  • Order Processing:
  • Work with the Fulfillment Manager and Fulfillment Team to ensure orders are picked and packed in a timely manner
  • Implement new systems to streamline fulfillment efficiency as our company grows (barcode scanning, pick lists, etc)


SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extremely organized, with an incredible attention to detail
  • An Excel-wiz, and a passion for data and systems! You also are very comfortable using computers, learning new software and troubleshooting technical issues; experience with Shopify / shipping platforms is a plus!
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, remain calm under pressure, and pivot when necessary!
  • Having a Can-Do attitude & and proactively taking initiative to problem solve issues as they arise
  • A positive and enthusiastic leader - people love to work with and for you!
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in an apparel retail environment is a plus! (but not required)
  • This job does require some heavy lifting, so you need to be able to: move and lift 25 lbs with ease (and 50lb occasionally); be on your feet while working (standing or walking); occasionally will need to climb a step ladder.


JOB DETAILS:

  • 32-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
  • Start and stop time somewhat flexible (between 8:30am - 4pm)
  • Salary range starting at $65k, based on experience
