As a Construction Coordinator, you ll be responsible for the management of construction projects maintaining or building our Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) in residential areas. Whether you are coordinating resources or calculating the cost of materials, your role will help connect our customers to our vital communication services.WHAT YOU LL BRING TO SPECTRUMRequired QualificationsExperience: Maintenance Technician, Field Technician, or similar work experience of at least one yearEducation: High school diploma, valid driver s license with satisfactory driving recordTechnical Skills : Able to use hand tools, read general system layouts for blueprints, operate appropriate test equipment (signal level meters, ohm meters, etc.)Abilities:Ability to read, write and speak the EnglishAbility to use the following hand tools: electric drills, hammers, wrenches, screwdriversAbility to walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment, including gaffs, ladders, and fully loaded tool beltsAbility to safely use weight-bearing equipment (such as gaffs, safety harness and ladders) within the maximum weight limitations of that equipmentAbility to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devicesAbility to carry, climb and operate extension ladder, (approx. 32 ft. high and 90 pounds)Ability to climb poles using gaffs, hooks and climbing belt as neededAbility to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wiresAbility to make cable connections in tight spaces by bending, reaching, twistingAbility to read general system layouts from blueprintsAbility to operate appropriate computer or test equipment associated with position (e.g. signal level meters, ohm meters, etc.)Ability to work while standing 50-70% of the timeAbility to work with small components and wires to make cable connectionsAbility to use handheld communication devices and applicationsAbility to dig in all types of soilAbility to drive Company vehicle in a safe and responsible mannerAbility to operate machinery used for underground/overhead cable installation Ability to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to work independentlyAbility to use personal computer, mobile device and software applicationsAbility to perform job from high places (i.e. poles and roofsSkills: Knowledge of National Electric Code and National Electrical Safety Code, company products and services, and basic electronicsSchedule: Must be able to work all hours and shifts as business needs dictatePreferred QualificationsConstruction work experience of at least one yearSPECTRUM CONNECTS YOU TO MOREDynamic Growth : Progress through your career with opportunities to be promoted to Construction Coordinator II, III, and Construction SupervisorJob Perks : Receive a company vehicle, tools, professional uniform, and personal protective equipment to do your best and stay safeCompetitive Pay : Generous starting salary with opportunities to increase salary as your career progressesTotal Rewards : See all the ways we invest in you --- at work and in life ( now, connect a friend to this opportunity or sign up for job alerts ( !#LI-JK3EFR100 2024-32038 2024Here, employees don t just have jobs, they build careers.
