Context
Our client, a major Investment Bank, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project/Program Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a professional who has a deep understanding of the corporate banking sector, particularly in areas such as loan processing, corporate loan payments, transaction banking, supply chain, and cash management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex projects and programs within the banking sector, focusing on innovation and efficiency.
- Work closely with technical teams, including architects, to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Utilize business knowledge to improve processes related to corporate loans, transaction banking, and other financial services.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical details into business language.
- Drive project deliverables and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Implement best practices in project and program management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of senior experience in project or program management within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of loan processing, corporate loan payments, transaction banking, supply chain, and cash management.
- Proven ability to communicate with technical teams and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. A Master s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP).
