Description
We are currently seeking a Security Guard to work every other weekend from 4pm-12 Midnight. This is a part time position to support the residents at our Continuing Care Retirement Community.

Job Duties:- Check in with previous guard, review assignments and log book at beginning of shift
- Check and lock doors at assigned times
- Inspect and maintain vehicles
- Respond to emergencies, e.g., fire, emergency response system and assist nursing personnel as directed
- Follow emergency call lists; help direct emergency vehicles if necessary
- Document and check mechanical equipment operation, gauges and controls
- Check for any unsafe conditions and repair or report to Facilities Management
- Check all equipment to make sure it is properly turned off
- During snowstorms, help keep ice and snow away from emergency exit
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of maintenance and Grounds
Qualifications- High School Diploma, or GED
- 1 Year Security Guard experience in a CCRC environment preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional and Friendly demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Team Player
- Must be able to work 4p-12Midnight every other weekend
- Valid CPR Certification a plus, but willing to provide training to certify
