**Description**

Job Summary

To coordinate the daily receiving activities of all food and non-food products purchased through company approved systems. This includes facilitating the delivery of products to the correct area and communication of shortages. Ensure that safe delivery practices are followed and that required log books are completed daily.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

* Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, vendors and internal partners.

* Demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal form to internal and external customers.

* Demonstrated computer and keyboarding ability.

* Demonstrated ability to identify, check for freshness, correct specifications of all food and beverage and non food and beverage products delivered to receiving dock.

* Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow all safety practices.

* Demonstrated ability to lift 50 lbs.

* Demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks and timelines.

* Demonstrated ability to receive and enter all POs in Birchstreet by month end to insure accurate storeroom inventory.

* Obtain bids from vendors, using the telephone and FAX machines, according to the specifications set by the department heads. Determine the best possible price for the desired items, and place orders for all non-food items. Schedule deliveries of non-food items to meet the operational needs outlined by the department heads.

* Maintain PM Hotel Group purchasing programs and arrangements. Ensure adherence to all corporate purchasing policies and procedures such as requisition process.

* Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

* Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Abilities Required

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to pitch-in and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Must have full knowledge of food, beverage, general and printing products and purchasing procedures. Basic mathematical and computer skills to order items and track deliveries. Ability to apply basic supervisory skills to plan, organize, direct, coach, train and discipline employees, as necessary.
