Job Description

The Manager of Event Venues is responsible for overseeing the overall retail event operations and relationships related to Rally House event venue locations throughout the company. This position fosters relationships with key stakeholders connected to the venue and is a liaison for partners associated with them. This position supports strategic transitions required when acquiring new venues and develops and leads the team to ensure each event supports the unique traditions associated with each event venue.



Responsibilities

- Develop forecasts and budgets for products and labor for events and the day-to-day operations

- Product assessment and recommendations; partnership with buying team

- Provides leadership support to store event leadership team as a partner to the District Manager and Regional Director; ensures staffing and training

- Is familiar with the unique traditions associated with the customer of each event venue space and aligns the retail space to those needs

- Provides oversight and leadership pertaining to profit and loss related to inventory control, personnel, merchandising, etc.

- Serve as a business management leader to third-party partners as it relates to merchandising local product

- Implement all on-boarding of new accounts

- Develop strategic plans for merchandising, fixtures and product before, during and after all events

- Looks for innovative ways to continue to enhance the in-venue event retail experience



Skills and Knowledge

Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities., Detail oriented, Enthusiastic attitude, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Exceptional verbal, writing, and analytical skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) suites and CAD programs, Strong merchandising and visual skills.



Qualifications

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years experience in retail; Minimum 5 years store management and coaching and developing others; Minimum 5 years Event venue planning experience; Associates or Bachelor s degree preferred

Travel: Market travel

Physical Requirements: Work is typically performed in an office but projects may sometimes take the employee to a non-standard workplace; Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards; Must have the ability to life and carry small parcels, packages and other items up to 25lbs, and walk short distances.
