PROJECT COORDINATOR / PROJECT ESTIMATOR
CIVIL AND CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION

Primary Job Description:
- Duties would include assisting the project managers and other co-workers in project estimating, planning, and problem-solving.
- Responsible for preparing estimate worksheets and quantity takeoffs for various construction projects.
- Read and understand construction documents, plans, and specifications.
- Track awarded projects and prepare submittals and RFI's.
- Issue purchase orders and track the procurement of materials.
- Work with the Project Manager to issue subcontracts and payment schedules.
- Assist in the development of detailed construction schedules and monitor various projects.
- Assist the Project Manager in verifying quantities and collecting job reports.
- Attend pre-bid, pre-construction, and weekly project meetings.
- Review productivity rates as estimated vs. actual project productivities.
Minimum experience preferred:- 2 years of plan reading experience or secondary education in Estimating, Engineering or Construction Management
- Possess a working knowledge of Civil and / or Concrete Construction
- Possess the necessary verbal and written skills to interact with owners and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Compensation:The compensation package is dependent upon qualifications and experience
