**Location:** Peterborough, NH

**Educational requirements:** High School diploma or equivalent some college preferred; 5 plus years of related experience; supervisory experience a plus. **Primary job responsibility:** Assist Customer Service and Project Manager and support Customer Service team with daily customer service operations, including sales orders and processing, customer communications, and customer complaints; Communicate important information with customers about the products and/or services that Microspec provides; Actively liaison with other departments; Keep customers updated in a timely manner about the status of their order(s), including proactive updates about risks to timely delivery or changes to acknowledged ship dates; Develop comprehensive knowledge of Microspecs products, services and policies and be able to communicate them to customers and staff. * Perform other responsibilities as required for Sales and Customer Service.

* Accept, process, and track sales orders in a timely manner;

* High proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and QuickBooks.

* Coordinate and share order, sales, product, and technology information to ensure on-time delivery;

* Build strong and lasting relationships with internal and external customers;

* Partner with customers to effectively address and/or resolve issues through email and phone;

* Show composure, resilience, proactivity, and flexibility in responding to customer needs and changes in case volume;

* Display excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to discuss technical details with customers;

* Exercise strong analytical, problem solving, and research skills to sufficiently address issues even if solutions are not immediately obvious;

* Work closely with other departments to collaborate with them to address and resolve customer order issues;

* Act as back-up to the Customer Service and Project Manager when needed;

* Maintain communication with customers and potential customers;

* Maintain customer files and other documentation;

* Assist in data collection, entry, research and management for Customer Service and Project Manager as needed;

* Generate graphs, tables, and reports for projects;

* Analyze and interpret data as needed;

* Complete all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently;

* Ensure a consistent standard of customer service is always maintained;

* Sort and file paperwork; and

* Perform other responsibilities as required for Sales and Customer Service.
