**Summary**

**About the position:**

This position will be assigned to the Bandit Lanes Bowling Center Snack Bar at Ellsworth AFB, SD. This position qualifies for a recruitment and retention program incentive.

The purpose of this position to to perform a wide variety of simple cooking tasks. Works in hot and noisy kitchen; exposed to steam, fumes and odors.

Continual standing and walking; frequent stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling and bending.

**Duties**

Per Presidential Executive Order 14043, *Requiring Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination for Federal Employees*, signed September 9, 2021, all newly appointed Air Force employees are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination If you are not vaccinated, we *may* have to postpone your onboarding until you become fully vaccinated.

Individuals are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after completing the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine or 2 weeks after receiving a single dose of a one-dose COVID-19 vaccine. Individuals must be vaccinated with vaccines that are either fully licensed or authorized for emergency use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) (e.g., PfizerBioNTech/COMIRNATY, Modema, Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines); listed for emergency use on the World Health Organization Emergency Use Listing (e.g., AstraZeneca/Oxford); or approved for use in a clinical vaccine trial for which vaccine efficacy has been independently confirmed (e.g., Novavax). Those with previous COVID-19 infection(s) or antibody test results are not considered fully vaccinated.

Performs a full range of simple cooking tasks by preparing and cooking items that require little or no processing.

Prepares convenience items; prepare and bake pizza.

Prepares food by peeling, chopping, grinding, paring, cutting, slicing; assembles ingredients for regular menu items; washes and cleans kitchen equipment and utensils.

**Qualifying Experience:**

Knowledge of the methods and procedures relating to food presentation. Ability to follow instructions and work safely. Knowledge of operating and cleaning food service equipment.

**Education**

**FOREIGN EDUCATION:** Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
