Senior HW Design - Mixed Signal/Digital


Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital and Mixed Signal HW circuit design including schematic captures for CPU,FPGA, Data converters, Clock generation and distribution, Memories etc.
  • Perform and optimize signal integrity of high speed data and clock signals
  • Support creations of detailed system level functional requirements and specifications
  • Specification and development of radio clock distribution architecture and design
  • Specification and development of digital interfaces
  • Drive and perform HW bring-up and verification, including integration with radio SW
  • Lead the PCB designers with the layout for the area of responsibility.
  • Test/verification/troubleshooting of the design.
  • Define production test plan and specification for the responsible design area
  • Create related documentation. Eg. Test Plan/Test Report/Design Report etc.
  • Define/contribute to HW/SW interface specifications.
  • Support creations of detailed system level functional requirements and specifications
  • Specification and development of radio clock distribution architecture and design
  • Specification and development of digital interfaces
  • Drive and perform HW bring-up and verification, including integration with radio SW
  • Drive state of the art Technology and Design-to-Cost innovation and execution of the Radio HW
  • Provide guidance and leadership


Job Requirements

  • Hands on experience working with high speed interfaces like PCIe, DDR2/3/4, XAUI interfaces
  • Hands on experience working with 10G/25G/40G/100G Ethernet interfaces, working with SFP28 and QSFP28 interfaces and optics
  • Hands on experience on design of FPGA power distribution and clock PLL design, hands on experience on FPGA power estimation
  • Hands on experience working on low speed interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART, 1G ethernet
  • Should be able to guide the PCB layout engineer in providing stack-up, constraints and critical signal layout guidelines
  • Should be able to work with firmware engineers during board bring-up and assist them whenever needed
  • Hands on experience working with ADC/DAC s interfacing to FPGA
  • Familiarity with electronics, PWB and mechanical components supplier base and supply chain
  • Deep knowledge on cost efficient manufacturing methodologies and technologies
  • Hands-on experience with design tools
  • Excellent inter-personal and leadership skills
  • Curiosity to continuously learn and innovate
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new technologies and concepts
