We are seekingaMechanic for our Wetzel County Landfilllocation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform general maintenance on heavy equipment/onsite vehicles
- Fix any major repairs needed in a timely manner
- Perform any general repairs/services on heavy equipment/onsite vehicles
- Complete necessary daily shop paperwork
- Fix any major sudden breakdowns in a timely manner to prevent delay in operations
COMPENSATION:- Starting at $20.00/hr
- Rate dependent on experience
WORK HOURS:- Monday - Friday 6:00am - 4:00
- Every other Saturday
REQUIREMENTS:- At least one year of experience
- Must be able to work every other Saturday
- Good communication skills both orally and written
- Must be comfortable and able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to drive both commercial and non-commercial vehicles with manual transmission
