Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Forklift Mechanic located in Houston, TX. The Forklift Mechanic will be responsible for repairing and maintaining industrial forklifts, performing diagnostic tests, servicing and repairing defects, replacing broken or faulty parts, adjusting and maintaining forklift parts, and following proper safety guidelines and procedures. The Forklift Mechanic will work with a team to ensure that all forklifts are operating efficiently and safely, and will communicate with other mechanics and team members to resolve any issues that arise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in forklift maintenance and repair
- Must have your own tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to read technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
