About This Job:


As Network Right s Business Development Representative, you will work closely with the CEO and BD team to generate a pipeline by prospecting outbound leads through thorough diligent research, creative outreach strategies, lead qualification, and effective opening conversations about our products and services.


This is an onsite position for our San Francisco office (4 days/week). This position is a 90-day contract-to-hire position.


What You ll Do:


  • Find, attend, and engage with people at networking events on a regular and consistent basis
  • Proactively research new potential target accounts, identify key players, generate interest and engage with potential customers.
  • Conduct outbound activities (including email campaigns, cold calls, and outreach via social media) to prospect, educate, and develop target accounts.
  • Comfortable making 50+ cold calls per day.
  • Identify, construct, and maintain an ongoing pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers at targeted sources, including C-Suite level stakeholders.
  • Perform discovery to deeply understand your target customers' business challenges and how to position Network Right as the solution.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on Network Right s suite of product offerings.
  • Leverage tools such as Apollo, Sales Navigator, HubSpot to build your book of business..
  • Build the blueprint for scaling the BDR function at Network Right.


About You:


  • 2+ years of experience working in sales, sales development, or business development - ideally in a fast-paced & dynamic startup environment.
  • Experience with lead generation and prospecting.
  • You love to network, connect with people both in person and digitally, and build lasting business relationships built on integrity and honesty.
  • You love walking into a room full of people you don't know.
  • You enjoy speaking to groups, leading meetings and giving presentations.
  • Not afraid to be scrappy and think outside of the box to find new clients.
  • Comfortable with visiting potential client sites in San Francisco.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • BA/BS degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • Experience working with multiple types of services (MSP/VAR/SaaS/B2B, etc.) preferred.
  • IT services/solutions sales experience and knowledge is a plus.
  • Customer-service oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curious, self-starter, collaborative, and adaptable in an ever-changing field.
