Aquionix, Inc. is seeking a full-time environmental consultant with a focus on air quality (0-5 years of experience) to support air quality permitting and compliance to join our growing Arvada, Colorado office.


This position will have the opportunity to work with our manufacturing customers and several small to mid-size oil and gas operators in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana supporting customer air quality permitting and compliance needs.


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities will Include:

  • Preparation of APENs and APEN updates
  • Upkeep of 12-month rolling emission logs
  • Oil and gas air permitting and compliance in accordance with Regulation No. 7
  • GHG reporting
  • NSPS OOOOa reporting
  • Technical and regulatory research and applicability determination of various air-related requirements
  • Preparation of technical documents, including compliance procedures, plans and permit applications
  • Project management for several smaller clients, including invoice review and proposal development


Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field is required.


Experience: The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Have 0-5 or more years of experience in the field of air compliance.
  • Have performed emission calculations related to oil and gas air quality compliance and/or permitting.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.


Attributes: The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, detail oriented, creative/flexible problem solver with the ability to successfully manage projects to completion. The successful candidate will also possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to interact with a large variety of clientele.
