Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area that is looking for a Payroll Manager. This client is looking for someone with 6+ years of payroll experience, leadership experience, and who is highly organized. This company offers strong culture with tenure, a flexible work environment, and competitive benefits. This position is hybrid.


The salary for this position is: $80k-$110k.


The Payroll Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages and processes bi-weekly payroll disbursements, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments, ensuring compliance with federal and state wage & hour laws.
  • Oversees all ADP reporting.
  • Oversees and ensures adequate training, and cross-training/backup for payroll area.
  • Liaise between the organization and our 3rd party vendors, to ensure all teams are aligned as it relates to payroll processing, time keeping administration, and related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations as it relates to Payroll.
  • Calculates taxes, benefits, and other deductions for unusual or changed payroll data.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships, contracts, and pricing.
  • Develop and manage departmental budget.
  • Manages timekeeping processes and tax compliance. Ensures the computing, withholding, and calculating of deductions associated with gross and net pay are done properly and in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.


The Payroll Manager will possess the following:


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Associate s Degree in Accounting or Human Resources preferred.
  • 6 years of experience processing payroll required.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Extensive admin knowledge of HRIS/Payroll systems, ideally ADP Vantage.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Upon Hire required.
