The company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who is responsible for mechanical repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of production and facility equipment. This role is ideal for military veterans due to the requirement of electromechanical skills, the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, and the need for a proactive approach to problem-solving, all of which align with military training and experience.
Responsibilities include, performing predictive and preventative repairs to ensure continuous production operations, working with AC/DC circuits, motors, and drives as well as adhering to safety practices like lockout/tagout procedures. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate with operations and safety teams to keep all maintenance records up-to-date and assist with new methods and procedures to enhance operations, minimize costs, and improve equipment utilization.
The role demands strong communication skills and the ability to resolve maintenance problems in collaboration with plant managers, production supervisors, and other team members. In addition, the candidate must maintain an organized maintenance area and keep records of all equipment maintenance history, troubleshooting methods, and spare parts inventory.
