We are centrally located to serve the Pleasant Valley area, as well as the surrounding South County areas. Role Description

This is a F/T or P/T on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian located in Placerville, CA. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive veterinary care, including medical examinations, diagnosis, treatment plans, surgery, and preventive care. The role also includes client communication, medical record keeping, and collaboration with the veterinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Experience in small animal veterinary medicine
  • Knowledge of medical diagnostics, treatment plans, and surgical procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Current veterinary license in California (or ability to obtain)
  • Surgical experience
  • Emergency medicine knowledge is helpful
  • Passion for providing exceptional veterinary care
