ESC s Premier Client is looking for a Financial Analyst\Legal Accountant to join their Tax Finance Team. This team is responsible for Procure to Pay lifecycle for Tax Advisory engagements, in addition to operational planning, financial controllership and FP&A. You will work through a ticket queue of legal contract review requests and note any areas for process improvement. You will also review procurement requests related to Tax Advisory engagements and supporting Tax Managers across several layers of internal review including legal procurement, accounting independence, and third-party security reviews. This position is a hybrid position reporting on-site 3 days a week in Seattle, WA.
Requirements:
- Review procurement requests associated with Tax Advisory engagements
- Support Tax Managers through internal review processes, including legal procurement, accounting independence, and third-party security evaluations.
- Act as a cross-functional bridge between Tax colleagues, legal procurement teams, third-party security review teams, and the accounting independence team.
- Propose and implement process improvement opportunities, identify redundancies, and streamline processes through self-driven automation and policy updates.
- Collaborate with related tech teams to leverage technical solutions for scaling the demands of client s global business model.
- Maintain a high level of collegiality and professionalism while liaising with various business and legal teams.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of tax, finance, legal/paralegal or a related analytical field experience
- Advanced excel skills
- Experience working in a multi-national finance or procurement, tax or account department
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience working with accounting firms
