Title: Busser
Reports to: Management Team

Summary of Position:
Ensure each guest has an exceptional experience. Clear and reset tables after guests leave.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
- Remove used tableware.
- Clear tables after guests.
- Check floor and clean as required.
- Sweeps and mops restaurant floors.
- Sweeps and vacuums carpets and floor mats.
- Removes trash from within the restaurant area and disposes in appropriate container.
- Picks up and disposes in dumpster all trash from the parking lot and landscape area.
- Polishes all brass items using designated cleaning agent and equipment.
- Inspect restrooms every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to as needed.
- Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
- Assist host as needed, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
- Thank guests as they are leaving.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

Requirements:
-Previous restaurant experience preferred.
-Be able to work in loud, fast-paced environment for long periods of time.
-Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
-Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
-Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
-Dressed and ready to work 10 minutes before shift begins.
