Responsibilities

TRC is currently seeking a Land Survey Project Manager in our Cary, NC

Position Summary

The role of the Survey Project Manager is multidimensional, and includes coordination and collaboration with survey team members, human resources, accounting, engineers, and clients. The Survey PM will work in conjunction with our Survey Team to help oversee and manage survey projects including topographic, boundary, ALTA, construction stakeout, etc..

This position prefers a Licensed Land Surveyor or ability to optain licensure. The applicant should have extensive knowledge of Land Surveying practices and techniques. Additionally, having experience and an understanding of AutoCAD Civil3D/Carlson Civil Suite is preferred. The manager will be asked to plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:
  • Provide management, oversight, and quality control of survey projects deliverables
  • Work with office and field staff to successfully complete survey related projects
  • Create and maintain working relationships with clients
  • Delivery of a quality product and superior service to external and internal clients
  • Prepare proposals and manage project financials through final invoicing.
  • Adhere to company safety polices.
  • Prepare project schedules and provide project management


Preferred Qualifications, Experience, and Education:
  • 5+ years progressive experience of field/office combined, or related experience
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Professional Land Surveyor Licensure

Compensation: Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
