TownePlace Suites Charleston Airport Convention Center is looking for dedicated and hardworking Room Attendants to join our team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our hotel rooms.

Job Title: House Person / Room Attendant & Laundry Attendant

Location: Towne Place Suites Charleston Airport Convention Center

Position Summary: Towne Place Suites Charleston Airport Convention Center is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a House Person / Room Attendant & Laundry Attendant. This multifaceted role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for cleanliness, and a proactive approach to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of our guests.

Schedule: 1PM - 9PM x 5 days a week

Key Responsibilities:

1. Housekeeping Duties:
   
   
   • Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas according to established standards.
   • Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with amenities and supplies.
   • Vacuum, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures.
   • Make beds and change linens as required.
   • Address guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
2. House Person Duties:
   
   
   • Assist with the delivery of housekeeping supplies and amenities to guest rooms.
   • Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas and linen closets.
   • Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
   • Support housekeeping team with various tasks as needed.
3. Laundry Attendant Duties:
   
   
   • Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens and towels.
   • Sort and pre-treat stained items before laundering.
   • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room.
   • Ensure proper handling and storage of clean linens.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
