PR5 OAG The successful candidate for this vacancy will work in a fantastic environment on a beautiful floating visitor village and event venue located on the main lake on our largest family friendly nature reserve, with a friendly welcoming team who all work together to generate income for our wonderful conservation charity.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a change of pace to move into the charitable sector and work at a venue that is open to the public 9am 5pm, and 20-30 times a year opens later for weddings and special events so it is a potential change of pace from the catering industry standard of split shifts, weekly late closes and early opens.
The bulk of your time will be spent leading from the front, ensuring all of our visitors get a fantastic experience on site. You will be supported by the Retail and catering Manager, and you will have a team of staff and supervisors who work in our two cafes, ice cream chalet and conference and wedding centre.
One particular focus for this position will be looking after our weddings, conferences and events, so past experience in this area is a real bonus as this will be a key area of ownership.
