Job SummaryDirect all aspects of operating at the facility under the direction of the Senior Director of Supply Chain, including strategizing, planning, organizing, and evaluating of all functions, with the ultimate goal and result being measurable improvements to Distribution Center performance levels relative to: Cost, Quality, Product and Associate Safety, Customer Service, Materials, Production, and Morale/Culture. Accountable for safety, quality, continuous improvement, and performance of the Distribution Center and of the Associates. Play a lead role in designing and implementing updates to processes and facility layout including site strategy decisions. Positively and actively embody and promote Grande's stated mission and culture.
What you need to be considered for the role:- Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Leadership, Industrial Tech, or other related field required.An equivalent level of experience may be considered.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive supply chain operations experience, preferably in a food manufacturing industry, with at least seven (8) years in management in a warehousing or distribution environment.
- Knowledge and experience of lean principles and process optimization.
Preferred:- Experience in project design and management preferred.
- APICS Certification desired.
