We are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to cover the Washington Metro area. Position is responsible for consistent and profitable growth in janitorial sales, by prospecting and maintaining new accounts. Individual must be able to demonstrate excellent selling, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. This is an outside sales position that requires daily routine travel.Responsibilities:Must be willing to travel to the Crofton office as needed (sales meetings, proposals, etc.)Developing new business and creating a pipeline of potential contactsManage and grow customer base to achieve monthly sales goalsMaintain existing client relationships by providing on-going service and supportGenerate and build business relationships through networking events, virtual events and industry contactsMaintain accurate and organized documentation on all clients and prospectsPrepare sales and marketing proposals and presentationsRequirements:Experience in the custodial or facilities service industry is a plusStrong organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsProven customer service orientation and closing skillsProfessional phone demeanor with demonstrated communication and interpersonal skillsFlexibility with sales strategy- cold calling, prospecting, and networkingProficiency in Microsoft Office and OutlookCompensation & Benefits:Base Salary* + Commission (*Commensurate with experience)Health InsurancePTO and Paid HolidaysCar Allowance
