We are seeking a talented and creative kitchen designer to join our team in East Northport, NY (Suffolk County, Long Island)!
The ideal candidate will be passionate about translating clients' ideas into functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen designs. A kitchen designer will collaborate with clients, architects and contractors to create innovative kitchen layouts that combine functionality, style and practicality!
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and requirements
- Create design concepts and present them to clients for approval
- Develop detailed design plans, including layout, color schemes, and materials
- Utilize 2020 Technologies to create accurate and precise design drawings
- Provide recommendations for furniture, fixtures, and other design elements
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail furniture and kitchen design/sales in a luxury store (preferred) Proven track record of successful sales Computer skills
- Experience in 2020 Technologies software Experience in retail interior design is preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
Work schedule 5 days a week.
