Administrative Support Associate/Clerk

Schedule

  • $18.60 hour
  • 8am-4:30pm
  • Monday through Friday *NO WEEKENDS*


Major Responsibilities:

  • Provides information to the freight claims group; obtains, completes, and files paperwork.
  • Conducts proof of delivery research including tracking and finding deliveries, verifying missed deliveries, and resolving delivery issues.
  • Responds to incoming customer service calls regarding transportation or operational issues. Coordinates with customer care, operations, and the customer to answer questions concerning orders, delivery, and other issues.
  • Prepares and distributes month-end reports as needed; provides filing support as needed.
  • Processes freight billings.


Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook & Excel is preferred)
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to provide both written and verbal communication effectively.
  • Strong time-management skills are punctual, meet deadlines, readjust priorities when unforeseen issues arise and plan days for productivity.
