UCT is looking for a talented Customer Account Associate to join us in an internship role! This is a great opportunity to get work experience with a Global and growing company. The Customer Account Associate is responsible for supporting one or more concurrent products or programs and managing day to day activities to support the global commercial account team. This internship opportunity will last up to 24 weeks with opportunity to transition into a regular full-time position after graduation, based on candidate's performance, skills, and qualifications.


UCT is looking for a driven, self-starter who enjoys taking initiative with their work. This is a great opportunity for you to gain valuable experience with a company that is scaled to continue growing! In this role you will support our Global Commercial Account Team with tracking information, pulling information for reporting, reviewing RFQ packages and technical drawings from customers. You will learn how to assist in quote preparation, review and submit to management team. You will receive mentorship in cost reducing activities. This role will provide opportunity to assist NPI Program Managers in keeping commit dates updated for open order reporting.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Frontline management of automated RFQs (Requests for Quote) from customer.

  • Obtain RFQ packages, estimated annual usage, drawings etc. from customer.
  • Assists in quote preparation for review and submits to management team.
  • Assists in managing excess and obsolete material liability claims with customer.
  • Manages and reports various program NRE hours to internal and external management.
  • Producing weekly reports.
  • Managing the monthly roll-ups for invoicing.
  • Visibility into balance of NRE.
  • Submit and track internal quote requests with corporate estimating team.
  • Assist in drafting customer bids on new opportunities.
  • Assist in cost reduction activities.
  • Assist Account Operations and NPI Program Managers in updating commit dates for open order report.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team spirit and leadership potential.
  • A keen interest in semiconductor manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Internship or relevant work experience is a plus.
  • Analytical thinker.


Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Currently pursuing undergraduate or higher degree in in a technical, business, or financial discipline.
  • Business, Marketing, or Engineering major preferred.


Preferred Work Experience:

  • History of previous internship or relevant work experience.
