I'm partnered with a Civil Engineering firm looking to bring on civil engineers. They are an employee-owned firm who specialize in civil and environmental engineering, subsurface utility engineering and hydrographic and conventional surveying services for the energy, transportation, federal, land development, water and building markets with multiple locations throughout the east coast. This role will sit in their Florida office.
Job Description:
- Independently conceptualizing and drafting civil engineering projects utilizing Civil 3D software.
- Demonstrating expertise in designing and preparing plans for infrastructure such as water/wastewater treatment plants, drainage systems, and/or utilities.
- Estimating project costs and developing specifications.
- Overseeing projects of diverse scopes for clients from both public and private sectors.
- Cultivating and managing client relationships, including interactions with contractors.
- Coordinating design activities with other departments within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and other design software.
- Strong organizational, technical writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to initiate and see through projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
