**Procurement Support Specialist Sabetha, KS**
This is an exempt position.
ADM Animal Nutrition, a division of Archer Daniels Midland Company, is seeking an ambitious individual for a Procurement Support Specialist role for the Crosswind Petfoods group. This position will be based in the Sabetha Kansas office and report to the Manager, Production Planning & Supply Chain.
**Position Responsibilities**
* Support vendor relationships by following up and working with Accounts Payable.
* Work with Regulatory to submit required paperwork necessary to fulfill Quality Assurance requirements and Accounts Payable requirements.
* Analyze and generate monthly reports providing key purchasing statistics for Crosswind Petfoods buyers & sales department.
* Support the Crosswind Petfoods procurement team by entering purchase orders for inventory purchases.
* Support the Crosswind Petfoods team by ensuring planning documents are current and complete.
* Analyze vendor data to support Crosswind Petfoods procurement team in purchasing related decision making.
* Be a resource for peers and management, and work seamlessly with internal customers on pricing, formulations, customer service, production, quality, and regulatory.
* Assume lead role on sales order entry & production and packaging batch creation for Crosswind Petfoods.
* Timely, accurate and professional communication with internal and external groups.
* Fill in for members of Crosswind Petfoods Procurement as needed.
**Position Requirements**
* Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business or Animal Science
* The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, self-motivated with the ability to manage time and priorities and the ability to work and contribute to a team environment. Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
* Ability to productively utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, Outlook & Teams.
* Ability to lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
* Prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, walking, and reaching on occasion.
* Work is performed indoors, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards.
