Human Resources Generalist (Temporary-to-Hire Opportunity)

As the Human Resources Generalist, it will be your objective to work internally with staff to assist with ensuring compliance across the firm, hiring, training and development, benefits administration, and providing a wide range of project-based support. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, an excellent communicator and has previous compliance experience, researching changes, compiling fillings, reports and audits. About the Job:

  • Monitor and ensure organization s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Revise human resources policies and procedures manuals/handbooks.
  • Coordinate the details for all training programs for new and existing employees in all of their work locations.
  • Upload new hire forms and manage files in talent acquisition software system.
  • Edit and update employee records including salary changes, address changes, name changes, etc.
  • Assist HR team with special projects relating to compliance, recruiting and benefits.
  • Plan and manage memorable employee appreciation events.

About You:

  • Practiced and proficient. You have around four years of HR experience with knowledge surrounding compliance; Bachelor s degree is preferred.
  • People-oriented. You like earning people s respect and trust by being the go-to person for your team.
  • Systematic. You flawlessly follow directions and are methodical when following-up on a task
  • Tech-savvy. You can quickly learn new software systems and enjoy using new technology.
  • Tuned into Microsoft Office. You are comfortable working with data in Excel.
