A leading EPC are looking for a Solar VP of Construction. With a remarkable track record of over 500 megawatts (MW) of installed solar electric power (PV) across the United States, this company manages all aspects of projects in-house, from development and engineering to installation and operations/maintenance.
You will Collaborate with the executive team to establish strategic goals and develop project management practices aligned with organizational objectives, as well as offering expertise and guidance to the business development and estimating team for solar projects.
We are looking for someone with a background similar to:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy industrial construction, preferably with a background in self-performing projects and prior involvement in managing renewable energy construction projects, particularly solar.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proven track record of effective team management. Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency in computer software programs including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and project management tools.
- Team player with a positive attitude, capable of collaborating effectively with various project stakeholders.
- Organized, dedicated to quality and accuracy. Proven success in project management with a focus on strategic planning and execution. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
